For general information purposes only:
the 3rd job quests can be seperated in 3 main parts, this applies to all classes
1) level 74 quest - the best ingredient quest part 1 - reward: Crystal - kill the 3 aggressive types of mobs
2) level 74 quest - allied with either Verka or Ketra and get to level 2 (level 1: 100 soldier quest items, level 2: 100 captain + 200 soldier)
get to level 76
3) level 76 run the rest of the quest and come to the last part which is to kill 700 mobs in the Shrine of Saint area
Most useful resource: by using the quest menu in game, click on the 3rd job change quest, and open it up to a list of subquests, it helps a lot when there is a balloon showing on the map of the destination you are supposed to go to.
Hint for Eva's Saint quest: when killing the mob in the Ketra camp area, use undead spells (sleep the 2 minions and use undead on the boss) <--- get buffed BEFORE you attack, if anyone helps during the battle you would have to start from the beginning of the fight over again
Hint for everyone: when doing the part inside Saint's Valley: go with a healer!!! And you HAVE to kill a mob by yourself
Hint for 700 mobs: You CAN get a whole bunch of people to help you kill, but when the quest mob (final) comes out you have to kill and finish it off by yourself, (meaning no one else should touch this mob) and you can't get healed / buffed by anyone else or you'll have to restart the 700 mobs from ground 0. Get buffed at the 700th mob. This part is probably harder for healers, I had to heal myself 3 times in order to kill it with a Soul Bow with full buffs. For SR you can kill it between 3-5 hits
Hint for alliance with Verka or Ketra: never be in a party that atks your alliance or all of your quest items would be gone, even if you don't atk and your party members atk, you are screwed.
